“My art is the essence of my experiences, not a representation of it”
Having graduated in 2018 from the Cardiff School of Art and Design (Cardiff Metropolitan University) with a B.A.(hons)
first class in Fine Art my art practice is now centred on who I am. Constantly referencing my conscious and subconscious
understanding of the world as the mother, wife and dancer. I strive to create work that is “true to myself” naturally
bestowing qualities such as movement, balance, fluidity, trepidation and tension within them; this comes from my physical
understanding of the world and instinctive tactile dialogue of movement that I innately translated into my work. Using
materials that may be domestically sourced, familiar, found, but most of all sensorially intriguing, I aim to create work that
reflects a sense of who I am and which inevitably has some underlying elements of my fundamental “balancing act” of life.
I have found inspiration from the courageous/outrageousness and scale of Phyllida Barlow and Sarah Sze’s work and the
structure and placement of Leonora Antunes and Claire Barclay’s, but mostly Rose Wylie for demonstrating that there is
still plenty of time to discover the artist within.
I currently live in the Vale of Glamorgan and with a small art studio in Cardiff.

We are excited to announce the release of our forthcoming
exhibition “Stronger Together”
We strongly believe in supporting local talent and we want
to use this exhibition as a platform for both emerging and
established artists alike, giving them the opportunity to
showcase their body of works in a modern and
contemporary art gallery.
As a gallery, we understand how difficult it can be for artists
so we will be looking to extend an artists career with an
opportunity to be represented by us.
